REQUIREMENTS
YOU WILL REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS/EQUIPMENT
White board for displaying the points.
Blank sheets of paper(I usually use x12 sheets) Bin/Basket
INSTRUCTIONS
The 12 sheets of paper are divided to make 6 for plus numbers and 6 for minus numbers e.g. +5 +10 +15 +20 +25 +50; -5 -10 -15 -20 -25 -50. Crumple up the individul sheets of paper and mix them up in your bin/basket.
On the white board draw a line down the middle and the name of each team at the top, either side of the line. To start off with give both teams 30 points. GAME RULES
After answering a correct question the person gets to pick sapiece of rubbish from the bin and, without opening it, passes it to the teacher (as shown in below example). They are then asked if they want to keep it for their team or pass it on to the other. Once they have decided the paper is unwrapped to discover the points. As each team either gains or loses points their previous figure is scored through and their new total written underneath. The team with the most points at the end of the game wins.
